Victory Baptist Church, a Southern Baptist Church in Clinton, Indiana, is searching for a Senior Pastor who is the answer to our fervent prayers. We are seeking a spiritually mature leader who is ordained or eligible for ordination, preferably a theological seminary graduate with pastoral experience in a Southern Baptist church, who will preach and teach in accordance with the Southern Baptist Faith and Message 2000 doctrinal statement.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate personal maturity and meet the biblical requirements listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4.  We believe that the pastor God calls to our church will be equipped by Him with communication skills needed to lead and motivate others, to confidently preach the truth of the Bible, and to serve   as a faithful shepherd who will lovingly care for members of our church and our community.

Clinton is a rural community of about 9,500 people in West Central Indiana. We believe it is essential for our pastor to educate and guide our church body to become joyful disciples who are fully equipped in the knowledge of God's Word and eager to fulfill the Great Commission as expressed in Matthew 28:18-20.

Our average attendance is 65 for Sunday Morning Worship, 25 for Sunday School, and 22 for Sunday Night Adult Bible Study. Two well established programs for children are offered on Wednesday nights: ALIVE (a year round program for youth in grades 7-12) and Kids 4 Christ (offered during the school year for kids age 3 thru grade 6.)  In addition, Celebrate Recovery meetings are held on Thursday evenings and Men's Ministry & Women's Ministry events are held monthly.
